Manhunt, Brooklyn (DUMBO).
June 9.
Our organizers for this manhunt (tag), Lori and Kevin.
A gathering of the tagged.
All the cops around, and no one ever asks what we’re doing.
The midtown Manhattan skyline.
The Brooklyn Bridge and skyline.
The Brooklyn Bridge and skyline (again).
The Williamsburg bridge.
Under the Brooklyn Bridge and skyline.
Manhunt, West Village.
June 2.
Walking through Chinatown.
Lin Ze Xu.
Confucius.
In Chinatown, even the Golden Arches are labeled in Chinese.
Slipping out of Chinatown into Little Italy,
I wandered past two of these. Scary.
What is this, a drunken pixie?
Walking to Washington Square Park,
I took an obligatory photo of the arch.
I notice it says The World War.
The fountain at Washington Sq. Park.
The Empire State Building, lit up.
And finally, back down to Penn Station to catch a train home.
I needed to deposit a check, so I took a walk along the creek.
June 1.
Underwater plants in the creek.
A trick of the light and water.
The reeds.
A blossom.
I’ll bet you’d never guess there’s an electric transformer under that fake rock.
No, of course not.
The poppy.
Some purple flowers.
Some yellow flowers.
It’s so much faster when you drive there… early.
May 30.
These are among the world’s most expensive billboards.
Through the tunnel.
I believe they call this contrast.
The angel atop the fountain.
Pete, and more contrast.
There were a fair number of people relaxing in the park.
When we left there was no traffic to speak of.
It was a nice day, and we got home quickly.
And Frisbee Is Life.
May 25.
It’s all about the frisbee.
He never lets it out of his sight.
