(Sep 20) A return to the San Gennaro festival. I haven’t been since I left Brooklyn. It has gotten smaller and has become overrun by iPhone accessories.

I was actually asked if terrorists might come to San Gennaro. I suppose this is the post-Boston way of things.
Someone didn’t get the memo. We don’t have hippies anymore, now we have hipsters.
The width of the street surely hasn’t changed, but it feels cramped now.

(September 21) Pete called and said “I’m in Little Italy, come meet me.”
The neighborhood doesn’t like it. You think?
Drown The Clown, a regular at this festival.
There’s a reason it’s called a feast.
Lots of food. Lots of fried food.
Elmo and Cookie Monster learned the hard way, nobody likes a snitch.
It was packed with food and people.
It’s always strange to see a Ferris Wheel on a city street.
Around all this food, Pete is truly loving life.

Time to leave Little Italy.
