Multiple Computer FAIL.
More night photos.
They follow directions excellently.
I missed the train by less than 60 seconds. Yay.
Evening in TriBeCa.
What lurks beyond the wire grate?

(All from Jan 9) Happy Fucking New Year.
I should have photographed the ruts the vehicle made in the lawn.
This had to cost someone a pretty penny.
A brief stop for some laughs with the lovely Lindsay.
Apparently the automated line has fancy video displays.
I’m sure the Windows2000 that runs the train appreciates the visual.

Black is so green.
LIRR service replaced by buses until September. Bleh.
Advice from the Hipster sages of Willamsburg.
That ladies and gentlemen, is the face of a serial killer.
Then up in the Bronx, further proof that spam is everywhere.
On a 4.2 mile journey through Williamsburg, Bed Stuy, and Bushwick, the Williamsburg Bridge spoke to me.
Viza, Joe and I went to a free concert at the Winter Garden.
Dorit Chrysler played the Theremin.
Ulrich Schnauss.
Right after this, I shaved. It didn’t make me look any better really.

The original plan, as usual, was to go to the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade, but as usual, that wasn’t to be. Wednesday morning involved wrapping up a nearly sleepless mess that began Sunday. The best I could do, was follow-through on plans to photograph a lit Empire State Building at dawn. Normally the ESB lights are turned off at midnight, but for Young Frankenstein on Broadway, it was left on overnight.
At long last, my nightmare was over.
Frau Blücher would approve. (cue whinny)
The first sign of dawn was just before 6:45am.
The clouds clung to the darkness
Downtown sparkled in the sunrise
Facing midtown, it was still pretty dark
Rising by the Manhattan Bridge
The colors were striking
Another letter to someone. I see a lot of those here.
The sun continued to push its way up.
The light chased the darkness from the clouds.
In the west, you could barely see the orange lights anymore.
Although the sun itself was yet to be visible from the bridge, it was time to go.

For one year, roughly from Memorial Day 2006, to Memorial Day 2007, I took a photo of myself, (almost always) against my bedroom wall, every time I made a personal appearance at a customer’s. I didn’t wear the same tie with the same shirt twice. Billy managed to get in on one of them too.
