And Frisbee Is Life.
May 25.
It’s all about the frisbee.
He never lets it out of his sight.
Spring has finally sprung, and the clocks have been returned to the sanity of DST.
For Louis, I present…
I’m pretty sure no one ever comes here but me, and it takes enough effort to maintain this that I wonder why I do it. I really don’t know why I bother, but it’s got to be whatever impulse made me start doing it to begin with. Between the $10 to register the domain and the time put into futzing with the software, I’ve invested quite a bit of myself into something I can’t explain. Ditto for the whole camera-phone business.
To summarize this week,… It snowed.
And of course, Christmas started this year before Thanksgiving did.
Today, a large low-pressure system blew threw town, bringing winds in excess of 50mph. As I walked to a client’s business today, small branches were falling all around.
The last of the blooming plants took a beating today just from the wind.
Tonight, as has often been the case lately, I made the round-trip uptown around 10:30pm at the very last minute.
The very last minute for what?
On the way home, one of the three trunks of a giant tree about twenty feet away from me snapped and came crashing to the ground. I felt the thud travel through the ground. I’ll see if I can’t get a picture of it in the daylight.
