Things didn’t get any better around here in March. In fact they got much worse.
Apparently the MTA spun the freight off from the LIRR. If this actually achieves anything, it can only be to prove that the MTA is incompetent at running railroads. Ouch.
And there it goes, the New York & Atlantic.
November began with nine days left on the lease at my Carroll St. apartment.
Root canal, visit one of five. Tony said “pics or it didn’t happen.”
It’s hard to see, but that’s a rooster, full of peppers.
Nice plate. I wonder if the cops are amused.
Back from the dentist, and off to paint “next apartment.”
Painting done, returning to Brooklyn.
I finally got a good shot of this. I never realized it was down the block from me.
The end is very very near now.
Yesterday, I was back out on Long Island after a sleepless night. Today it reached 63 degrees.
Leaving Jamaica, for what’s old is what’s new
Coming back to Jamaica, to my new island home.
It said BRODAWAY until Gothamist got involved the other day
(October 24 & November 19) I’ve been spending a lot more time in Port Jefferson than I really care to. The commuting isn’t cheap either. Though it has changed quite a bit from my personal standpoint, in most ways, it’s exactly the same, except a little worse for wear.
Apparently morons, dumb, and the uneducated no longer have to stop here,
which is good since they weren’t stopping before.
Change comes slowly to the LIRR.
Especially west of the station.
The weathervane succumbed to a storm.
Tonight I needed to check up on a friend. As it turned out, it was for nothing.
They say this makes people do crazy things.
I’m finally starting to learn how to use this camera.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t me.
The international symbol for library?
Sometimes life would seem easier if there were only one way to go.
I certainly do have a lot of “road work” ahead today.
Has whatah been in Port Jeff?
They’re still at it, still paving the same part of the highway as last night, and last week.
My favorite photo of the night.
I will be back here in a few hours.
