Spring has finally sprung, and the clocks have been returned to the sanity of DST.
For Louis, I present…
I’m pretty sure no one ever comes here but me, and it takes enough effort to maintain this that I wonder why I do it. I really don’t know why I bother, but it’s got to be whatever impulse made me start doing it to begin with. Between the $10 to register the domain and the time put into futzing with the software, I’ve invested quite a bit of myself into something I can’t explain. Ditto for the whole camera-phone business.
To summarize this week,… It snowed.
And of course, Christmas started this year before Thanksgiving did.
It is too late to be getting to bed, but I am. I need to be doing … Duh, what else?, work.
This makes my toes cold.
I find it very hard to work when my feet are frozen.
It is cold. 27 degrees at Islip MacArthur airport. It’s been getting frosty at night here and there. Not everything had succumbed as of this afternoon. The shasta daisies had endured.
What will be out there tomorrow?
This was perhaps not the best use of money. I’ve had it two weeks though, and I am still using it.
It is autumn, and the dogs must now take care not to lose their Kongs in the leaves.
For their part, the leaves have begun to change color and fall in earnest.
Although the Yucca still blooms,
And the chrysanthemum now come into their own,
Soon the trees will be barren.
PS: Many thanks to Daniel for help with the on-the-fly thumbnailer toys.
