(Sep 27) Sadly, I do not have lens capable of having done the event justice.

moon
It was a “supermoon”

red
It was a “blood moon”

(Sep 23) I do this almost nightly again. Out to the highway, and back again.

perfectly normal
He’s pushing a grill down the street at 10PM

sad, if not so unusual
My detective skills inform me that it flew into the supermarket window

the pills of ruin
A sign of our times

dave thomas is rolling over in his grave

(Sep 20) A return to the San Gennaro festival. I haven’t been since I left Brooklyn. It has gotten smaller and has become overrun by iPhone accessories.

i look like my brother here
Your author, looking harried

i don't know what it is i'm hoping to capture here, but i never find it
Through the tunnel

spend money please
The width of the street surely hasn’t changed, but it feels cramped now.

doesn't even cross my mind
You know,… it never occurs to me to eat any of this stuff

money to be given to the poor
Saint Januarius

someday soon
Someday, this will all be part of Chinatown

not that it contributed positively toward the festival's authenticity
The “Drown the Clown” carnival game is no longer a part of it.

(Sep 18) And what have we got?

because they put it in the wrong spot
The only thing this has proved is that everyone’s driving less than the speed limit.

reporters watch us take buses
A LIRR derailment

sound the alarm, i finally made it into the city
In to Manhattan

and off to costco
Then back home, As Seen On TV

suburban anger
A protest on Long Island, don’t recall seeing this before

meh.
They don’t like Common Core

try again?
Despite having the monopod this time, these shots were worse than the last bunch.

(Sep 4) My life has become routine. Worse, it has become boring. Very boring.

Hahaha. Gotta be a joke, right?

Somehow though, this is an actual thing.

I am determined to get a good shot of this scene.
