(Apr 7) Went to visit my mother.
My mother’s new home
There’s a park across the street
Beyond the park, a trail. I’m probably not supposed to follow it.
The journey ended badly for a traveler before me
Then I ran into the Hudson
It’s cleaner than the Gowanus Canal, at least.
There were a lot of these “utility pole trees”.

(August 15) I met Tony at the Union Square farmer’s market to look at tomatoes. The mission was specifically about tomatoes, but also any other sort of business built around nature’s bounties.
There were a fair amount of tomatoes here, but none you’d call a bargain.
Other ideas came to mind as well.
I’d been thinking about this myself.
This seemed out of place somehow.
On sight, I thought “That’s gotta be a Gehry”, and indeed it is. I was unaware of either the building or who IAC was. Sorry Barry.
