(Apr 7) Went to visit my mother.
My mother’s new home
There’s a park across the street
Beyond the park, a trail. I’m probably not supposed to follow it.
The journey ended badly for a traveler before me
Then I ran into the Hudson
It’s cleaner than the Gowanus Canal, at least.
There were a lot of these “utility pole trees”.

(Apr 4) The last service provided by a carcass. Flavor. This time I reduced the stock to gel. I’ve been downgraded from gas to an electric stove.

Then beef. Beef bones are a rare find in the supermarket.
